annoyed at myself.

ce pointed it out a while ago...
my style really has become bland, especially since i abandoned blogging regularly because of cars & photography & school.
and of course, dating a boy who dresses as comfortable as he hugs (which is quite comfortable, but still awesome :b) doesn't help much. i don't want to out-dress him, because well...a boy in jeans and a tshirt walking next to somebody wearing the rainbow and sequins? might not bode so well.
i know other girls can do this, but i like to be on a similar level. yes, i do still wear my cardigans, and i do still wear tights and skirts, and in the summertime i wear dresses and all that...but lately i feel like i've just become...

bland. a little bit of a 'i'm dressing comfortably because making an effort is too hard.'
it scares me, because i used to wear my leopard print skirt daily.

what to do? what to do???

Guess who finally bought boots?

After wandering the whole of Eaton Centre, leaving and heading to Vaughan Mills, & then returning to Eaton Centre...I finally found boots.

Ce & I spent so long looking, & we had almost given up on finding something warm (as opposed to good-looking, which I am *now* saving up for a pair of nice looking boots)...& then, Skechers saved my life. With buttons.

Shall post a picture up sometime later, but right now, I just finished squeezing my brain for every last drop of information in it for that darned research exam, sooo...I'm gonna just let myself bliss out until I have to study for Anatomy.

much to ce's chagrin, i have actually managed to find a boot that a) is comfortable, b) is affordable & c) he thinks is absolutely cute on me. this means that he had no choice but to offer to buy it for me.

to which i said 'maybe.'

i don't know why i didn't say yes.

we ventured 2-ish hours away from toronto just to find it, & i'm not even sure if i'll be able to find it in toronto for the same price as at that remote outlet. hm.

okay, it's not a knee-high style. it's not even close to what i've had in mind. but...it is really cute. despite my hesitance when it comes to sweater style boots, i actually want this boot now.

other than that, i'm still looking for something that isn't ugg-ish.
& something knee-high.

the search continues.
i'm confident it will prove more fruitful than say...yearning for a dslr?

who said exams had to be studied for anyway?
